Towards a synergy Managers, Users and data processing specialists

It is not healthy to leave the models conventional of management of the projects partitioning the roles hermetically: “me, I definite the strategy, you you state your functional needs, one ties up a beautiful file and the other over there deals with transcribing all that in data processing”.

Of course, it is completely true that the data processing specialists must be delayed a little more on the role of technologies in the firm. But it is as urgent as the managers and users demystify the concepts used in order to better seize the potentialities of them. Technology must become the common denominator.
It will be then possible of a sufficient level of synergy, only pledge of success of the projects. This synergy is not naturally acquired. It will be necessary to take care to fill at least two prerequisites.
The first, directly consequent of the development above is summarized with a self-evident truth: To communicate, the same language should be spoken.
The second, in the same order of idea seems it to be also a truth first: To be sure to achieve the common goal, still it is necessary that each protagonist aim at the same target. It is however far from being the case more running.
Let us take an example to clarify this second point. According to the definition most commonly allowed, a solution of CRM is supposed to improve the relation with the customer in order to increase the potential customer and the market shares. But concretely, until wait each actor during launching of the project?
Let us draw up a portrait:
  1. The managers privilege the solutions bringing a maximum KING with a minimal investment. (Naturalness not?)
  2. On the other hand, the person responsible for the project will feel more concerned by the control of the budgets and the completion dates. (It is well what one awaits from him?)
  3. The data processing specialists, on their side, will privilege the aspects more “bandaging” development and opportunity of slipping some lines developing into their RÉSUMÉ. (As the occasion, so the behavior isn't this? …)

You will supplement yourself this gallery of your characteristic lived. Of experiment, this short cut is not as caricatural as it seems it. It should in any case be retained that at the beginning, none the actors of the project shares the same finality. How would you like that they achieve a common goal? It is not with beautiful speeches, as convincing are as it will be possible to federate the whole of the actors around the project. Only the implementation of a system of measurement adapted will guarantee the adequacy between the stakes of the projects and clean waitings of the actors.
