What the km Management?
Definition:
- Km Management of
knowledge
- The km Management or knowledge management is the use of a family of tools, methods and modes of organization to facilitate the conservation and especially the sharing of the knowledge distributed in the firm.
The concept has as an ambition to identify, develop and disseminate knowledge of the firm. (extracted “good use technologies explained to the manager” Organization)
The km why?
In the firm, an amazing quantity of knowledge, competences and know-how thus remain completely unknown and inaccessible. It is unhappy to always butt against the same problems without knowing that they were already solved in the past or that a collaborator has the saving expertise. Knowledge management (km) has thus for purpose to identify and of static and dynamic knowledge in order to facilitate the access of them.
The km how?
Knowledge is in fact a whole of information structured, directed towards a subject and validated by rules or the experiment. Knowledge told “explicit”, and thus computerizable, represent only one weak share of the whole of overall knowledge.
The valorization of knowledge, ultimate goal of the project of knowledge management, contains 2 essential phases:

The storage of the purposes of knowledge, as the (Electronic Management of the Documents) proposes it, is only one aspect. It should not occult the management of flows of exchanges between the men who produce them and use them.
- … for better sharing them…
The access to the various documentation data bases for all, but also development of a cartography of the profiles to identify the experts quickly and to swap with the latter thanks to communications tools and of sharing impromptu, quickly operational.

- … in a continuous spiral of progress
In all the cases, knowledge management falls under a dimension of improvement uninterrupted. Knowledge and definitions of the profiles will be continuously upgraded, the experiment of the ones contributing permanently to the common training. The capitalization and the sharing of knowledge are not disjoined and are expressed with the length of a continuous spiral of progress.
