6 SIGMA which is thus?

6 sigma is a method of management of particularly effective progress. Exit of a strongly connoted step quality in the beginning, 6 sigma is relatively simple on the plan of the principle.
6 sigma is founded on an eternal rule which is checked since mists of time in any case since the man trades: To satisfy the customers, products of quality should be delivered.

Little world will be able to contradict this fundamental truth.
However, it is not so simple to put into practice. With the increasing complexity of the products, the regularity of delivered quality is a true headache. Indeed, the manufacturing processes have an hot trend become terribly complex. Moreover, it should be noted that the basic components used for each product are not always of quality or equal performance. And so in addition, the procedures of manufacture are difficult to establish, the drift will inevitably be with go.

That it is for one or the other reason, with final the good number of products will be apart from the “normal” and will thus deviate from the fork corresponding to quality acceptable for the customer. This drift is extremely expensive for the firm. The management of the rejections, the reworks or the returns customers for nonconformity generates consequent costs seriously cutting down the hoped benefit. Let us not forget besides that it is also necessary to take into account the dissatisfaction of the customer. Even if it is less palpable in the immediate future it is the main explanation of the soft growth, characteristic of a majority of firms.


Method 6 Sigma poses thus like basic principle:

: IF all the efforts are implemented for always remaining inside this fork THEN the gain will be with go.
The drastic reduction in the rejections and the constant satisfaction of the customers are indeed the best means of improving its profitability.
All the firm is concerned. 6 Sigma thus exceeds the simple step of expensive continuous improvement to the conventional approaches quality. Six Sigma is a true method of management of progress being registered in the middle same of an strategic approach. The investment can be consequent, in conformity with the awaited potential results. Six Sigma is in oneself a true organisational and managerial revolution.
