6 Sigma is not a specific improvement. It is a basic reform of the whole of the organization and mentalities.
It is thus necessary to look after the formation, the accompaniment of the change and the measurement continuous performance. The effort must be continuously constant. The success of the project depends on quite precise parameters: To found the crop of the measurement: the lever of the success
The generalization of the measurement is at the basis of method 6 SIGMA. However, this spirit of measurement is not limited to the phase of implementation of the project. As some like to repeat: “The improvement, it is the business of all”. It is a very good slogan, but still is necessary he that each member of the firm, actor of the processes, has the means, knows his responsibilities, can define his current location, appreciates the direction of advance, evaluates the effort required, and aim , can measure the possible hazards. It is that which proposes the method.
