Theory of
information
The quantitative theory of information was worked out by Claude E. in 1949. According to this model, the information which circulates between a transmitter and a receiver can be measured quantitatively. Information represents a reduction of uncertainty: the more I have information on a thing, the more I reduce my uncertainty on it. The noise, by parasitizing a message reduces information and increases uncertainty. The noise is the opposite of information. Any information can be regarded as a mailman of command in a system, insofar as it decreases uncertainty.
