, Acronym of Business Monitoring, is translated into French by supervision of the processes and trades activities.

The concept, defined by Gartner , proposes a rational exploitation of the instruments and equipment of Business intelligence in order to ensure a piloting of the activities and processes “trade” most critical (see definition of a critical process). It is in particular a question of approaching real-time. Exploiting the integration and the inter-exchange of the implementations of production and inter firms, the thus seeks to propose the best perception of the performance of the activities and process. On the technical plan, the exploits the concepts of integration and of communication of the implementations, the associated and concepts like in particular and are integrated in an overall dimension of BPM. User's point of view, person responsible for activities or process, solution are concretized in dashboards of piloting made up of indicators of performance, KPI for Performance , refreshed in “real-time” (1). We are from the directed point of view process of overall integration of the within the more general framework of the performance enhancement.
