What urbanization of IF?

Still recently, the designers of a computing project limited the perimeter of work to the problem to be exclusively discussed. It was a question not of being concerned with different systems already works about it, and even less of becoming known as systems. This compartmental historical approach, heterogeneous and how much harmful is from now on completed. The information system fits today in a strategic dimension of the firm. It is primordial to adopt a vision global, in space and the duration for any project of computerization.
The urbanization implemented to the design of the information system answers the new requirements rather well.
Taking as a starting point the theories of town planning, in particular those advanced by the school of Chicago, the urbanization of the information system proposes to define a coherent development plan in phase with the strategy, the trades, the processes, the … and existing it!
(In 1871 a gigantic fire devastated the town of Chicago. It was entirely rebuilt according to a diagram “of harmonious integration”.)
A city is composed of multiple cores of growth which one can describe as “functional”: dwellings, trade, industrial parks…. The roadway system connects and serves each core as well as the services common and shared like the administration, the hospitals, the schools… The city is in perpetual development.
To preserve the overall level of quality of service, the resources and infrastructures are adapted uninterrupted… While keeping the eye on the budgets!

The information system resembles curiously, in any case on the logical level with the concept of the city. The information system is composed of functional modules answering special needs, the overall resources and the communication networks are also shared… And of course, the system evolves/moves permanently…

This cutting in areas, makes the cartography, highlights well of it modularity functional calculuses and exchanges.
But to guarantee the adequacy between the functional strategic issues, needs, the technological coherence trades and process and requirements, the designers will adopt various levels of …
