Base the model of E F

12 rules of model (of origin)

Concept (One ) was formalized in 1993 by DR. EFF , the father of the relational databases. EFF mainly based its expertise on the model of multidimensional spreadsheet de (integrated into Hyperion thereafter). EFF prescribed 12 rules of design.

: Model is multidimensional by nature
Transparency: The physical site of server is transparent for the user
Accessibility: User has accessibility with all the data necessary to his analyzes
Stability: The performance of the reporting remain stable independently of the number of dimensions.
Customer-server: Server is integrated in an architecture customer server
Dimensioning: Dimensioning is generic in order not to distort the analyzes
Complete management: Server ensures the management of the sparse data
Multi-user: Server offers a support multi-user (management of the updatings, integrity, security)
Inter Dimension: Server allows the realization of operations inter dimensions without restriction
Intuitive: Server allows an intuitive handling of the data
Flexibility: The flexibility (or flexibility) of the edition of the reports is intrinsic with the model.
Analyzes without limits: The number of dimensions and possible levels of is sufficient to authorize the most thorough analyzes.
