The purpose of this work is to show how the data processing departments of the firms can deploy internal programmes of marketing of their own services. This work thus approaches the data processing departments under a new angle: that of their perception (like an necessary evil or a source of competitive advantage). This perception conditions the management and the performance of the information systems like their contribution to that of the firm.
Perception must thus be in the middle of the concerns of the personnel implied thanks to the tools of the marketing of the services: it is not enough that the information systems are creators of value, he is necessary also that they are perceived like such.
The author revisits the tools at the disposal of the (communication, project management, formation, governorship, architecture,…) to implement them in this new prospect.
